The logic of the fan, manager, coach, and player are different. They all have different expectations that determine their actions. Sports psychologist does not wield popular opinions. It is beneficial to learn to work strategically and guided by scientific assessments. Deep mental aspects are not understandable from common sense. Common sense and sympathetic attitudes have no relevance when we are working with professional golfers.

Sports Psychology, as a branch of psychology, aims to work with the mental states involved in the tasks and to optimize the psychological functioning. It detects deficits and works on them to obtain better results in the performance. Consequently, the victories will come. The sports psychologist is prepared to see what happens to the player, what he thinks and where they lost their way. There are simple problems, difficult to solve, and by the contrary, tricky problems, easy to solve. Nowadays the psychology counts with lots of tools y that allows anticipating and planning efficiently.

It is not only a standard work to solve motivation, but it is also to solve “your” motivation, what is 100% unique and particular, that you have to understand it within all the variables of your life. The mental paradigm is constantly changing, because each one and their context change, and have to be accepted and understand.

The psychological perspective allows us to understand the mental phenomenon; if they are treated adequately, they can be foreseen and redirected. High performance is an enigma. It can be appreciated when you understand its contradictions. Understanding the paradox means that our mind can live with a contradiction.
